I had a hankering for some guc and chips, but not any old guc and chips. Farmboy’s guc and chips!!! DELISH!
Once in the store, I bee-lined for the homemade guacamole!
Got it!
My mouth was already watering.
Next. Their chips.
I was a man on a mission. In fact, the theme song from Mission Impossible was playing in my head. (Ha – now you’re humming it. Enjoy that ear-worm for the rest of the day😜).
As I turned the corner, there it was. Standing tall. An end-cap fully stocked. A treasure found equal to that of Indian Jones finding the Arc.
With eyes wide and eager hands, I snatched a bag of the tasty tortilla chips (blue corn to be exact).
I was very excited. Mission almost accomplished! Time to cash out.
Then, something happened. In all the excitement to check-out, I missed my basket and the chips hit floor. Hard.
I heard at least the bottom two rows crumble into pieces. 😳
Noooooooooooooo!
As I stared at my blunder on the floor, I considered nonchalantly replacing the broken chips for a whole new bag.
Sigh.
As the famous retail proverb goes, “you break it, you buy it”. And I bought the bag with broken bits.
Here’s the thing, we all drop bags of chips. But only you will know if you put it back on the shelf.
PS: broken chips are still delicious with guc!!!
