October 31st, Halloween. The world will be infiltrated with people embodying their favourite superheroes, movie characters, animals witches, ghosts or whatever.
It’s a day where we step into a costume and BAM 💥- we take on that persona. Their strengths, their weaknesses, their idiosyncrasies. All the qualities and traits that make them unique.
Halloween is a real collection of misfits.
And then on November 1st, we put on our own clothes showing up to the world with our strengths, weaknesses, and idiosyncrasies that make us unique. You know, back to our original misfit.
That’s what a team is; a collection of misfits.
And the difference between a team of high functioning misfits and a dysfunctional one, is the effectiveness of the leader.
