I wish I was born a scientist because that way I would view the world through hypotheses rather than assumptions.
The difference?
Assumptions are thoughts/ideas we believe to be true. Therefore, we defend them and try to make others wrong. We’re focused on being right.
Hypotheses are thoughts/ideas we don’t know if they are true or not, so we test them. We ask questions. We challenge our thinking. We’re willing to change our mind. We’re focused on getting it right.
Hmmmm, I think all my greatest leaders were scientists.
